Better Fame LTD operates the online gaming platform at www.famebet.com and is licensed and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under License No. ALSI-202509070-FI2.
FameBet provides a secure and responsible online gaming environment for users across multiple jurisdictions, adhering to applicable regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
2. Company Policy Statement
As a licensed online gaming operator, FameBet voluntarily adopts AML/CFT standards equivalent to or exceeding those applied to financial institutions under international best practice and Anjouan regulatory expectations.
FameBet strictly prohibits the use of its services for criminal purposes, including money laundering and terrorist financing, and implements strong internal measures to ensure compliance with international standards.
3. Definitions
- Money Laundering: The process of concealing the origins of illegally obtained funds through placement, layering, and integration.
- Suspicious Activity: Any activity that raises concerns about fraudulent or illegal intent and requires further investigation.
- Sanctions: Restrictions enforced by governments or international bodies targeting individuals, entities, countries, or activities.
4. Governance and Oversight
FameBet has appointed a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) responsible for implementing AML/CFT measures, overseeing internal procedures, ensuring staff training, and investigating suspicious activities. Independent reviews are periodically conducted to assess the effectiveness of these compliance initiatives.
5. Know Your Customer (KYC) and Transaction Monitoring
A. Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
CDD measures include:

6. Transaction Monitoring
FameBet monitors all transactional behaviour using automated and manual reviews:

- Continuous sanctions screening against global sanctions lists.

7. Reporting Obligations
FameBet complies with all reporting obligations under Anjouan regulations. Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) will be submitted to the Anjouan Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) or designated authority when required, including cases of suspected money laundering or terrorist financing.
8. Education and Training
Employees receive regular AML/CFT training to ensure awareness of current regulations, detection methods, and reporting procedures. Training is updated to reflect emerging risks and regulatory changes.
9. Compliance Innovation
FameBet continually evaluates new compliance technologies and methodologies to enhance its AML/CFT controls. This includes upgrading monitoring systems, adopting advanced risk assessment tools, and implementing new practices aligned with global regulatory expectations.
10. Collaboration with Regulatory Bodies
FameBet maintains an open channel with the Anjouan Gaming Control Board and other relevant authorities. This cooperation supports consistent adherence to regulatory obligations and strengthens efforts to combat financial crime within the online gaming ecosystem.
11. Record-Keeping
FameBet retains all customer identification documents, transaction records, monitoring data, and correspondence relating to AML/CFT for a minimum of five (5) years following the closure of an account or termination of the business relationship, or longer where required by law or regulatory request.
12. Policy Review & Updates
This AML/CFT Policy is reviewed at least annually and whenever there are material changes in regulation, risk environment, or business operations. The latest version is always available on the Famebet website.
